The construction industry produces many different types of materials that can easily be recycled. It’s estimated that a third of our region’s waste comes from construction, demolition, and renovation of buildings. That’s over 1.5 million tons every year!

Going green with your construction demolition is good for the environment and can help benefit your construction business’s bottom line. Confused about where to begin? Wish you’d started yesterday?

Don’t worry, the team at Futerra Waste Solutions has got your back. We can help you with recycling Vancouver construction waste at reasonable rates. And we’ll pick it up in a badass truck — making you look cool while you save the planet.

In one year, Futerra Waste Solutions manages enough material for recycling that we could fill up BC Place 2.5 times.

So Fresh & So Green

With landfills filling up, it’s time to think about different ways to dispose of construction waste. Recycling instead of disposing of items can reduce your disposal and transportation costs, saving your business money. It can also lead you towards LEED Certification (the gold standard of green building certifications), giving your business the edge that it needs.

You need a game plan for the waste you’ll inevitably produce. We promise we can make it easy to recycle your construction waste, providing a cleaner future for British Columbia.

If you are looking for organization and coordination, Futerra is your company.

Reporting for LEED?

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a voluntary certification that is recognized as the international mark of excellence for green building. In partnership with Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), LEED Canada is redefining the way we build and the way we recycle waste.

Since 2012, LEED Canada has helped recycle over 2.97 million tonnes of construction waste — the equivalent of one year’s total waste disposal in BC alone.

LEED certification is a great way of showing that you’ve met your environmental goals and allows you to take advantage of certain financial incentives. If you’re reporting for (LEED), let us know and we can help you achieve maximum credits in the rating system.
